Terry (shoes), Leslie (gowns), Pina (gowns), and Marla (alterations) are phenomenal- it is always an absolute pleasure working with them. What separates these women from the other associates within this store is not only will they never bat a negative eye at you, but they are tirelessly patient with meeting your every need and question with kindness. They never push or act bored, and they always make you feel welcome. Now here is why the store gets a 1 star (and honestly, the only reason this store gets 1 is because A. google won't allow anything less, and B. because those women are the only saving graces within this particular store. Without fail, every single time I go into this Neiman Marcus, I find myself in a Pretty Woman situation. I almost always brush it off, thinking it was funny because the commission will go to someone who actually treats me with the respect that I deserve, but now I've had just about enough of it. A manager by the name of Karen is by far the rudest person that I have dealt with at that store, and she's honestly lucky that even though I may not have been wearing the couture gowns I was returning so a neon sign saying "she has money" is lit across my body, I still have enough class to keep quiet and let other people's true colors show. Let me assure you, she is not the sole reason for such a low rating- I very literally get treated, or looked at in this way.. rude tones, not interested in what I have to say, people looking down their noses at me, etc. -but the way Karen treated me and made me feel definitely pushed me over the edge. Shame on her and shame on the people running this store for not making it clear that EVERY customer that walks through those doors should be treated with the same exact kindness and respect as any other customer, regardless of how much money it looks like they have.
